This presentation is a description of some of the controversy around video games, as well as distinguishing between the types of video games available and how they may be used therapeutically.

The objectives for this presentation are to help participants:

  1. Become familiar with some of the controversies around video games, and the evidence to refute the controversial claims.
  2. Explore the different types of video games.
  3. Learn how to engage video games therapeutically, both for themselves and with clients
